This policy explains how Pesaline handles the personal data of people who visit this website (pesaline.com.br) and of people who send us a quote request. It follows the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018, the LGPD). Last updated: October 11, 2026.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Pesaline is the data controller for the data described in this policy:
| Data controller | Pesaline (Pesaline Ltda) |
| CNPJ (Brazilian company tax ID) | 68.388.592/0001-02 |
| Address | Avenida Júlio Borella, 3553, sala 105 — Marau, RS, Brazil |

| Data protection officer (privacy contact) | comercial@pesaline.com.br |
Write to this e-mail address about any privacy matter, including to exercise the rights listed in section 8.
2. What data we collect
- Quote request (website form): name, company, e-mail, phone or WhatsApp, product of interest, business segment, intended use of the weighing, message, and the language of the page you were on. The date and time of submission are also recorded.
- Material downloads: name, company, e-mail, WhatsApp or phone (optional), the material chosen, date and time, and whether the e-mail was confirmed by the code we sent.
- Direct contact: the data you give us when you write by e-mail, call, or message us on WhatsApp.
- Technical access data: IP address, date and time, pages visited, and browser type, recorded on the hosting servers for security and operation.
We ask only for what we need to assist you. We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as health, religion, or biometrics), and we ask you not to enter it in the free-text fields.
3. Why we use the data and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (LGPD, art. 7) |
|---|---|
| Reply to your quote request and conduct the negotiation | Preliminary procedures related to a contract, at the data subject’s request (item V) |
| Contact you about the request by e-mail, phone, or WhatsApp | Consent (item I), given by ticking the box on the form |
| Record the intended use you stated, so we can recommend suitable equipment and document the guidance given | Legitimate interest (item IX) and regular exercise of rights (item VI) |
| Send the confirmation code, release the requested material, and contact you about it | Consent (item I), given by ticking the box on the download form |
| Keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse | Legitimate interest (item IX) |
| Comply with legal and regulatory obligations, such as tax and metrology rules, and respond to authorities | Compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation (item II) |
We do not make automated decisions or build profiles with your data, and we do not send newsletters or offers without your consent.
4. Why we ask about the intended use of the weighing
Pesaline equipment is intended for process control and internal weighing and does not have a model approved by Inmetro (the Brazilian National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology). Brazilian metrology rules (Inmetro Ordinance No. 157/2022) require an instrument with an approved model when the weighing is for commercial purposes or another purpose subject to legal metrological control. That is why the form asks what the weighing will be used for: the answer is recorded with the request so that we can recommend suitable equipment and document the guidance given. See the Terms of Use and Intended Use of the Equipment.
5. Who we share data with
- Website hosting: HostGator hosts the website and the database where quote requests are stored.
- Corporate e-mail: Google (Google Workspace) receives and stores Pesaline’s e-mails, including the notice of each request sent through the form.
- WhatsApp: if you prefer to talk on WhatsApp, the conversation follows the rules of Meta and WhatsApp.
- Resellers and partners: only when necessary to handle your request, and we will let you know.
- Authorities: when required by law or court order.
We do not sell or rent personal data. Some of the providers above may process data on servers outside Brazil; in that case, we look for providers that offer protection safeguards compatible with the LGPD (art. 33).
6. How long we keep the data
- Quote requests and material downloads: for up to 24 months; after that they are deleted automatically, unless the request becomes a commercial relationship or there is a legal obligation or a need to defend a legal claim.
- Commercial relationship (quotes, contracts, and invoices): for the periods required by tax, civil, and regulatory law.
- Access logs: for the period set by the hosting provider and by applicable law, such as the Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet (Law No. 12,965/2014).
When the period ends, we delete or anonymize the data.
7. Cookies
This website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and it does not load third-party services that store information in your browser. That is why there is no cookie banner: you do not need to accept or refuse anything to browse.
If we ever start using this kind of feature, such as visit statistics or ads, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before turning it on.
8. Your rights
Under art. 18 of the LGPD, you may ask at any time for:
- confirmation that we process your data, and access to it;
- correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data;
- anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data, or data processed in breach of the law;
- portability of the data to another provider, under the regulations;
- deletion of data processed on the basis of your consent;
- information about who we share data with;
- information about the possibility of withholding consent and the consequences of refusing;
- withdrawal of consent, without affecting processing already carried out;
- objection to processing carried out without consent, if the law is not being followed.
To exercise these rights, write to the data protection contact listed in section 1. We may ask for information to confirm your identity. We reply immediately, in a simplified format, or within 15 days for a full statement (LGPD, art. 19). If you believe the processing does not comply with the law, you may also file a complaint with the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
9. Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS); access to the administration panel is restricted to our team, with a limit on login attempts; and there is protection against automated submissions (spam). No system is completely secure. If an incident occurs that may cause a relevant risk or harm, we will notify you and the ANPD as required by art. 48 of the LGPD.
10. Children and teenagers
The website is aimed at companies and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if that happens, we will delete the data as soon as we find out.

When you click links to other websites or services, such as WhatsApp, their privacy policies apply, and Pesaline is not responsible for them.
