Load cells for every type of application
The load cell is the sensor that turns weight into an electrical signal, the heart of any weighing system. Pesaline selects the type, capacity, material and protection rating suited to the application and integrates the cell with the controller, the mechanical module and the project software.
Available types
- Single point: 5 to 500 kg. One cell at the center supports the whole platform.
- Type Z: 200 to 5,000 kg. Works in tension or compression, on suspended tanks and buckets and dosers.
- Type I: 500 to 5,000 kg. Supported and bolted, one cell at each support of platforms, tanks, silos and reactors.
- Type L: 250 to 2,000 kg, also used in industrial platforms.
Materials and protection
Aluminum for lighter loads in dry environments, carbon steel for heavy industrial use and stainless steel for moisture, washdown, food and chemicals. Protection rating from IP65 to IP68, depending on the model.
How to size it
The capacity of each cell depends on the dead weight (the equipment structure), the maximum load and the number of supports. Sizing only by the payload is the most common mistake. The free guide shows the calculation step by step, with worked examples.
